What is IELTS?
IELTS is one of the most widely accepted English proficiency exams. It is recognized by universities in the UK, Australia, Canada, and many European countries.

IELTS Format:

• Listening: Understanding spoken English

• Reading: Comprehending academic and everyday texts

• Writing: Expressing ideas in written form

• Speaking: A face-to-face interview with an examiner

Scoring:

• Scored on a 1-9 scale.

• Most universities require a minimum score of 6.0 – 7.5.

Who should take it?

• Students applying for bachelor’s or master’s programs in the UK, Canada, Australia, and European universities.

• Some US universities also accept IELTS.
