What is IELTS?
IELTS is one of the most widely accepted English proficiency exams. It is recognized by universities in the UK, Australia, Canada, and many European countries.

Writing: Expressing ideas in written form

Speaking: A face-to-face interview with an examiner
Scoring:

Scored on a 1-9 scale.

Most universities require a minimum score of 6.0 – 7.5.
Who should take it?

Students applying for bachelor’s or master’s programs in the UK, Canada, Australia, and European universities.

Some US universities also accept IELTS.
